Circus Cookie Cutters

Last year for Halloween, one of our neighbors gave Wookie a box of animal crackers. They were just like the ones I got at the zoo or the circus when I was a kid, and I thought it was a really thoughtful Halloween treat. Wookie loved them. She kept the empty box long after the cookies were gone, and still asks for them from time to time. Of course I don't buy them, because they're full of all those ingredients that we aren't supposed to eat.

I thought it would be fun to make our own animal crackers, with healthier ingredients, so I just ordered these cookie cutters from Williams-Sonoma. Hopefully they won't arrive at the new house before we do. I bet these would be fun with play-doh, too.

Those are adorable!! I can't wait to see how they turn out! You'll have to post your recipe for making the crackers, I have one but the kids were too impressed.
